A chronotype is your own personal biological clock that controls your body's rhythms—it's the reason you are grumpier in the morning or focus better later in the day. This genetic biological clock affects much more than your waking and sleeping patterns, it affects when you should eat; when the best time for coffee is; and when you should socialize, work, and exercise, among other things.
There are four different types of chronotypes: a lion, a bear, a wolf, and a dolphin. Each type has different habits and characteristics that determine when a person should go to bed and when they should eat their meals to live their best life. If your body has been feeling out of sync it may be because you are not doing what is right for your chronotype.

i got: Wolf
Dr. Oz's description for my chronotype with some advice for me:
Wolves are impulsive, sometimes moody, and creative. They react emotionally and can be risk takers. They have trouble waking up early in the morning and are often groggy during the day. They are also not very hungry in the morning but are ravenous during their peak time, at night. Wolves are comfortable being alone but can also enjoy a crowd or big social gathering. The wolf is insightful and intuitive but can get stressed easily and fly off the handle.
Wolves need a first alarm about 20 minutes before they actually need to get up to start their day. If you are a wolf, as soon as you get up write down your ideas and thoughts—this is the best time to be productive and problem solve for you. Instead of coffee, use sunlight to feel more alert and move as much as you can in the morning. Have a high-protein breakfast to fuel you for the day and enjoy some coffee at noon, when you find you need it most. Your best window of time during the day is between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Turn off electronics by 11 p.m. and hit the sheets by midnight to get optimal rest.
Wolves are creatures of the night which means they tend to wake up late and go to bed late. Some common wolf characteristics in individuals are impulsive, pessimistic, creative, and moody. If you are a wolf you should eat breakfast at 8 a.m., lunch at 1 p.m., and dinner at 8 p.m. Even if you love the night, you should get to bed by midnight so you're not sleepwalking the next day.
